Overview
An interactive training programme for the Sports Direct retail team delivering Visual Merchandising Principles — designed and developed in Storyline 360 LMS with custom animations, interactive games and video production.
Flareform collaborated with Sports Direct internal teams and subject matter experts to develop their Visual Merchandising Standards training initiative — creating a dynamic and engaging experience that leverages technology to deliver VM principles in a way that sticks. Phase 1 launched in summer 2022 with a positive reception; Phase 2 followed in spring 2023.

The Platform
The VMS e-learning platform was built to be immediately intuitive — a clean interface presenting modules clearly, with progress tracking and a completion system that kept learners motivated throughout each course.
Engaging Content
Custom animations and interactive games bring Visual Merchandising concepts to life — reinforcing key principles around mannequin dressing, window standards, and store layout in formats that are both memorable and enjoyable to work through.

Assessment & Interaction
Interactive quizzes and knowledge checks are woven throughout each module — ensuring learners are actively engaged rather than passively absorbing content, with targeted questions that reinforce the most critical VM principles.
