The result is an environment that communicates community, movement, and purpose at every turn.
Interior Transformation
The physical environment was reimagined from entrance to pool deck. Wall graphics, illuminated signage, and architectural lettering bring energy and personality to what were once purely functional spaces — creating an environment members want to return to.
Living Walls & Natural Elements
Biophilic design was introduced through a statement living wall paired with oak-clad locker units. Natural materials and greenery create a moment of calm within an active environment — reinforcing the wellbeing message at the heart of the Active Leeds brand.
Signage & Wayfinding
A comprehensive wayfinding system was designed and installed throughout — directional totems, departmental signage, aquatics scheduling boards, and motivational 3D lettering. Every element was designed to guide, inspire, and reinforce brand consistency across the building.
A Unified Wellness Experience
Every element — from the entrance experience to the locker rooms — was considered as part of a single connected narrative. The result is a leisure centre that feels intentional: a space where brand and environment work together to elevate the experience for every visitor.
